China to Surpass U.S. by Next Year in Manufacturing

Speaking of China, look at what CBS Market Watch is reporting:

China is forecast to surpass the United States as the world's leading manufacturer in nominal dollar terms next year, earlier than expected, as the U.S. economy slows down and China's continues to grow at unprecedented rates, according to consulting firm Global Insight.

Last I saw this wasn't supposed to happen until 5 years from now.

Right, let's see the China PNTR (trade agreement) has been in effect since 2000. That means it's only taken 8 years for China to beat the United States economically.

I think this is why I call this particular trade agreement the would you like to buy the Brooklyn Bridge too and as I type we have McCain claiming these agreements are good and Obama really not offering any policy changes needed.
