This Election is About 12M Illegal Immigrants

This election is about the 12 million people living in the shadows, the communities taking immigration enforcement into their own hand. They are counting on us to stop the hateful rhetoric filling our airwaves, and rise above the fear, and rise above the demagoguery, and finally enact comprehensive immigration reform.

That's a quote from Barack Obama. Bet you didn't know that. I bet a lot of Americans don't know that.

Even worse, Obama promotes McCain without even realizing it. By claiming McCain had to listen to his constituents and back off a bill that outraged the entire nation, literally shut down the phone and fax lines of Congress, in poll after poll, only 23% of the American people approved of, Obama just pointed out the GOP platform does not endorse those bills and McCain has changed his position.

Even the AFL-CIO fought against those corporate written, guest worker laden, nightmare pieces of legislation.

Amazingly enough, Obama doesn't seem to grasp that is one of the issues a huge percentage of the country has with McCain...his sponsorship of comprehensive immigration reform.

I'm sure they will be very glad to hear this. I believe it's about 77% of all U.S. citizens, you know the ones who vote, who strongly disapproved and were outraged by those bills.

HOW MANY ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS ARE REALLY IN OUR UNITED STATES

HOW MANY ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS ARE REALLY IN OUR UNITED STATES TAKING JOBS THAT RIGHTFULLY BELONG TO AMERICANS???

There is endless speculation about how many illegal immigrants there are in our United States. Our politicians, especially the pro-illegal ones, love to use the number 12 million. They have been using that same number for the last four years, all while, each year, millions more illegals have invaded our United States.

Illegals have been swarming across our border ever since 1986, when amnesty was granted to the estimated 1.3 million illegal immigrants, who were here at that time, which turned out to be closer to 3.5 million.

In 2001, before any real concentrated border enforcement effort, it was estimated that the Border Patrol apprehended 1, out of every 7, illegal immigrants, attempting to cross our Southern border. Now, with a increased Border Patrol effort, and 300 miles of fencing, plus some vehicle barriers, along the almost 2,000 mile Southern border, it is estimated that the Border Patrol now apprehends 1, out of every 4, illegal immigrants, attempting to cross our Southern border.

So, realizing that we could grossly guestimate how many illegals came into our country each year, by multiplying available DHS statistics on Border Patrol apprehensions, by as much as 6, in the early years, and by 3 in the last couple of years, how many illegals do you think we now have in our country??

-------------SOUTHWEST BORDER PATROL APPREHENSIONS----------
----1999-------2000-------2001-------2002-------2003-------2004-------2005-------2006------2007------2008
1,537,000-1,643,679-1,235,718--929,809--905,065-1,139,282-1,189,108-1,071,972-858,638-660,882

In the last ten years, well over 11 million illegals have been apprehended at the border. If we used the lowest multiplier, that 1, out of 4, were apprehended, it still indicates that over 33 million illegals entered our United States, and that is just in the last ten years. How many more entered from 1987 to 1998??

Let's stop accepting, or believing, that there are only 12 million illegals in our United States. There are probably much closer to 40 million, if not more. We can even assume that as many as 20 million former illegals have since become legal over the past 22 years, and the numbers of illegals, here right now, could still be well over 30 million.

Support E-Verify for ALL employees, and let's begin taking our country back!!!

something right now

Congress is trying to increase guest worker Visas, Employment based visas by 550,000. Take Action.

I don't believe there are 40M people unauthorized in the United States, that sounds grossly over estimated, but I do believe 12M they low ball because the numbers are so alarming to most Americans.

The real thing here is....beyond just handing McCain an issue without even realizing it...and that shows some real out of touch with what the American people actually want...
and it obviously is not some corporate written cheap labor lobby bill....

Is the completely disregard for US workers. I mean that's just a fact that flooding the labor supply and enabling unlimited migration/immigration will repress wages, erode worker rights and any solution that the American people could accept simply has to recognize those statistics and put Americans 1st. It's like Americans are dead last and the reason is not the philosophy of this issue...instead corporations want this, lobbyists want this.

And honestly believing that this will win the election ...well, unless illegals are voting I don't see how such an outrageous statement would. Even by Demographics the Hispanic vote does not start and end with this issue in any way.

Taking My Last Unemployment to the Bank, in Line Behind Illegals

Lots of great feeling as I deposit my last unemployment check. Thanks and gratitude to all the H1B folks. But while I stand behind a short brown Mestizo dude, I notice the altercation between him and the bank teller. It seems he has no other form of identification than a debit card from a central American bank. He has no drivers license, not even a Matricula Consular Card. If you recall, many of the 9/11 Hijackers had false or non-existent id.

The paycheck the Mestizo is getting, is for a local government sidewalk construction project. No unions here, everybody is Amigo, ese. The original sidewalks were built by the WPA in 1935. I bet there were no illegals working on the original sidewalks.

On the week following 9/11/2001, sixteen caskets were laid out one local parish alone, St. James, in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. Let LULAC and La Raza, and try their crap on me, face to face.

I reported this scene to ICE.

eek

Well, whatever you do keep piping up and raising hell. Financial troubles are emotionally very hard to cope with and that's another thing that just doesn't make it to these politicians. These are real Americans, real people who are getting wiped out financially every damn day.

Economy

I hope everyone you know pipes up and raises heck. We all work hard too hard to try to make ends meat and support our families. I own my own business and have not received a full paycheck in months (tough on family). The financial troubles of our state is something that everyone needs to take seriously and stop bailing out all the banks and mortgage companies that got themselves there with greed. All we want is a means to feed our families and pay our bills we did not make millions on faulty loans and the like. I want our government to bail out the Americans not these corrupt businesses; the people of this state are not corrupt but the companies sure are!!! Lets make millions than get bailed out!!!
